NANOFLUIDICS 2026
Lake Tahoe
February 8-12th 2026
Granlibakken-at-Tahoe
Tahoe City, California USA
Nanofluidics, the study and manipulation of fluids at the nanoscale, has emerged as a vital interdisciplinary research area with far-reaching applications in fields such as energy, healthcare, materials science, and environmental sustainability. This small focused GRC-style conference aims to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas, present their cutting-edge research, and forge invaluable connections between researchers in the field.
Representative topics covered by the conference include:
-
Fundamentals of nanofluidic transport in 1D and 2D pores
-
Transport and selectivity in membrane pores
-
Phase transitions and equilibria in nanochannels
-
Nanopore sensing and sequencing
-
Nanofluidic ionic computing
-
Electrostatic and electrokinetic equilibria under confinement
-
Artificial nanopores and channels
-
Nanomaterials for novel membranes and separation technologies
-
Theory and modeling approaches for understanding nanofluidic phenomena

The Nanofluidics-2026 conference will take place at the Granlibakken-at-Tahoe Resort and Conference Center on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This beautiful alpine lake is encircled by 10,000-foot-tall mountains, pine forests, granite summits, and several world-class ski resorts. Granlibakken is a charming rustic resort situated in the pine forest near the lake and offers a mix of chalet-style and hotel-style rooms. The workshop will bring together senior researchers, postdocs, and students and will follow the Gordon Research Conferences format with free afternoons to provide time for the participants to interact with colleagues and explore the surroundings.
